Had my Escape Gear seat covers arrive today, yay! ......they turned up about 30 mins after I'd dropped the car in to be Dinitrol'd, boo! So I don't get to fit them until the weekend, which sucks. Still, I've got the back headrests, so have fitted the covers for those
Initial impressions are good. Quality seems excellent, thick material yet still soft feeling, should last a lifetime. Nice colour too, a kind of grey/brown mix.
Front seats:
Rear bench and split backs, one headrest cover fitted, one not for colour comparison:
Transmission (auto) tunnel cover with zippy pocket things, secures to carpet on side of tunnel with velcro:
Nice big bag that it all arrives it and spare wheel cover:

Escape Gear seat covers fitted. Man that was a major faff. The instructions and Youtube install video aren't much help as the Jimny seat covers are a different design. Could still smooth things out a bit more, but I've had enough for today.
Pleased with how the seats look, but undecided on the transmission tunnel cover. I like the pockets for odds and sods, but it makes the interior look very grey and also a bit 'yeehaw cowboy' for my tastes, so might ditch that.

Hmm, the seat covers look great and functional but the transmission cover does look odd as you say. And more pockets means more stuff...
Thanks for the updates, really useful.

Saddlebags are going to have to go, I keep thinking about mule bottoms
I've been in a bit of an accessorising frenzy this week, job for today was (as per thread in technical) swapping the front 10cm speakers out for 13cm jobbies. I though the stock ones actually sounded alright, which is surprising when you see the quality of the old speakers, real 'potato' speakers, horrid flimsy dual cone things. The new ones were only £20 but are night and day in terms of build quality. Not sure if I can tell any real difference in sound quality mind you, but I get a tingly feeling in my tum knowing that I've spruced up another bit of the car
