After getting the usual great info from the forum i set about installing some front HD tow points, off came the bumper which was ok until i got to the three stooges at the bottom of the bumper that wouldn't move even with a impact driver so a soak in wd40 (a cup of tea and a scratch head) and then a phillips head that fitted snug on the end of a large ratchet and eased them off slowly undoing then tightening a little bit same again with some wd40 again until they came off manage to get all three off safely
i don't know if i just didn't get all the instructions included but i only got one sheet so just kept offering the tow points up to the Jimmy until they looked/fitted right one side needs the crazy bolts and nuts placed in it so you can fit a certain side as it covers up the opening
Once you have worked it out its a matter of marking the holes 5 each side then drilling not forgetting the eye ware!!!!!!!! :silly: first a pilot hole then i used an 11mm bit the bolts fitted nicely
and for a while now i wanted to chop the bumper so while the front fog part was out and i could see more of an idea what it would look like i got a push from my eldest daughter to cut the bumper :woohoo: :silly: :woohoo: used a slitting disk and angle grinder which worked quite well also trimmed down the front fog part so it hides the metal area like asked plate purely for cosmetic use only then today i treated her to a bit of a wash and wax
