Thread revival!

Does anyone know if the GV steels and 205/80 fit on a standard jimny with no lift? I have some ready to go!

I would say no
If they stand more than 28" tall you will have rubbing issues

This is what i thought. Just wondered as there was no mention of a lift on this thread until after they were fitted.

About 28.9 in compared to 26.2 in.
33mm extra in ground clearance and arch gap loss. Would be tight. Happy to cut arches, just wonder about what cutting is needed on the strut side.

Suppose trial and error.

No cutting needed on inside
I run 225/75/16 and these catch slightly on the front chassis to body mount support's

I'm not running any wheel spacers

Out of interest, would you happen to know roughly how many hours you would have spent on the basic body and chassis repairs i.e .the cutting and welding.

Hi there
I'm facing a similar repair - need to fabricate some supporting plate for the rear two points where the body mounts to the chassis.

Have dismantled all the bushes and washers for the off-side, but it appears as if the bolt is welded in there and does not remove.

Is this your experience too?
