Hello Bren998, i may be wrong but one of your back tyres is wrongly mounted onto your rim.
Unless you have a special reason for doing that offcourse. ;)

2nd the above. This Jim is my background on my nexus. A real inspiring Jimny. Is it competing soon within a sensible driving distance of Sheffield? Would love to see it in action.

Next competition is a long way away for us and you Spoonie, it's the de-cider which is in Devon. Its on the weekend of the 27th of September, good hike for us as we are from Co. Durham. Not sure what our plans are for after that comp wise, but Garry has a plan for some hydro steer after the comp. He tells me he is going to build it himself.

Thanks for the update Bren. Its a beast of a drive for you, never mind me, as you say.

Keep the piccies flowing, on question, why did he remove the ally door 'sliders?

Your right he did remove the tree sliders to the doors as Garry was Darren at KAP's best customer for second hand doors. Last comp out we managed to stove my side door in and I had to exit and enter through the window, which is a bit hard wearing a helmet.
So the plan was to extend the rock sliders at the bottom of the cage and extend the top of the cage to allow the Jim to slide past trees.
Here is a pic below, with some of my handy work in the painting department.

Hey Bren, that is a savage jimny you have built there. can you give us a run down on the axles you have there please and also what lockers you have?

I'm going to try to keep standard axles (until the HD ones are available) and I'll more than likely just weld the rear diff and be done with it.

Hi Stan, we had to ditch the Jimny axels which were up rated as per mentioned in this thread somewhere. Garry now uses landrover axels with Ashcroft up rated shafts and CV's. These have a maxi drive locker on the rear and ARB in the front. Rob Butler suggested that with the V6 in the Jimny axels for comp use were not going to be up to the job.
Hope this helps.
