AT tyres recommendations 2025

I am reaching the wear limit on my BFG MT and with the use my Jimny get now I should go for AT's instead of MT's.
But doing a bit of laning and offroading i would like a more aggressive thread pattern or a hybrid AT. 
More offroadish and less of a silent or ecomonical fuel saving road tyre.
 
I have tried to look around and read tests and seen youtube videos, some sponsored and some maybe not.
But still I find it difficult to choose what to go for.

I would like tyres that can be used in spring and late autumn that would not kill me if I have to pass a mountain with snow.
Three Peak Snowflake is a definite must have.
I need to have 15" tyres as i allready have many rims to choose from.
I might keep the 235 dimension but I might go bigger as i have the engine hp and the gears to go up to 30-31" 

If i do go bigger than the 235's I will need to cut space and put on fender flares iceland/arctic style.
If I stay with 235's I will stay with my original Jimny alloys and, if I go bigger I will use 15" x 7" ET -10 steel wheels that i allready got.

I have had BFG's AT and they are ok but for winter they are ok just the 2-3 first years based on experience. Also had problems with BFG's getting uneven wear and making more noise than the BFG MT.
 
Currently driving my VW T5 on cooper discoverer AT3 sport2 and they do very well.
also considering the TOYO open country A/T3, and other well known brands.

But seems that some brands are hard to get in 15 inch here..


 

I have the Toyo's on a Freelander, impressed on and off road, but not had any snow to try them with. But they rate well in the above video.

My fav AT is the Maxxis Wormdrive, but they aren't 3 Peak rated sadly, but mine have been brilliant for my kind of use.

Another tyre test here with interesting results for snow.

Take a look at the General Grabber A/Tx if they are available in your corner of the world. They are a fairly aggressive all terrain tread pattern, with the "Three Peak Mountain Snowflake" and studdable.  I've been running them in the 215/75R15 size on a JB74 for the last three years and have just ordered another set for my JC74.

Seen both those films, i did not like the tire reviews channel but the last one is relevant. And many other too say bfg is the least worst for winter.

Will Try to find more info on the firestone and the general grabber and check local availability.

Also found Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac that get ok reviews for winter.

Come to think of it I allready got a BFG AT and even in snow.
