Hi I recently had my G13BB engine (jimny 1999) cut? Sorry don't know the term in English. But I need to replace it and can't find the right one in Sweden. I saw the correct engine (G13BB) avaliable down on the continent but don't know what sites can be trusted. Can someone help me that has experience with this. Witch sites can be trusted, can I use a G13BB engine from a different make of suzuki, can I use a newer suzuki engine?

Thanks in advance for any help

They are gone in Norway too. ( the low cost neighbouring country to the west )

But the engine block are mostly the same on all G13 engined Suzukis. difference is between the heads but from the same period you can mostly use them. try to find one with two coils on the top like your own and move over auxhiliarys from your exsisting engine.
Also possible to swap to the G16 with an adapter plate for the gearbox and some extra work but extra hp as the reward. Many here use the Baleno G16 engine from '99.

How did your engine die? Threw a rod out the side?

Thanks, I tell this to my mechanic if I can't find a G13BB.
But I still wonder about other countries, like this
rrr.lt/en/used-part/mlk12536-g13bb-suzuk...uage=en&gad_source=1

They say they ship to Sweden?

No, I looked now and could only find this:
allegro.pl/oferta/silnik-1-3-16v-g13bb-g...-z-pracy-15770269086
But it doesn't look like the one in my car, air intake över the engine block?

I found this on another site:
www.proxyparts.com/car-parts-stock/infor...ine/partid/20807131/

Only 77000 so hasn't gone as far but don't come from a jimny, is it a problem?

Your existing engine will most likely supply all the parts you need to make any g13bb fit your jimny. The most important thing is that the ignition system is the same. With the two coils on the head.
Seems the allegro engine also came out of a front wheel drive transverse mounted something.
