BigJimny has had a squeaky front spring for a long time, a temporary cure is to spray lubricant onto the base.
When taking our Gen4 to bits to fit the lift, I noticed that the Suzuki springs I was taking off had nylon sheaths on the bottom coils which is clearly to stop this.
Is this a special sleeve I need to get or is it any old nylon sleeve?

Dreadnaught doesn't have any and I have no recollection of there ever being any but I too have a squeak on occasion so I'm interested to see what you find out.

That explains the tiny little squeak I get from the front driver's side!! It's only come about with the car having a chance to dry out in this nice warm weather. It's been driving me mad!

I'm thinking that I might get some plain tube and split it to make a trial before importing some from Murica.

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there

Most cars have them, I thought their job was to hold water and corrode the last half turn of coil so it snaps off
Plenty on eBay in different sizes- look for Tein spring silencer.

Perhaps rotate the spring a little and see if it stops. I believe we have the same springs and mine are silent.

My 2011 has a squeak from the front passenger side, but only when I press or lift the front nearside wing.
I have tried opening the bonnet, in case it was the bonnet bushes, but the squeak remains.
Is it likely to be the front passenger side spring rather than the panhard bush, if it was the panhard bush, wouldn't it squeak if I pushed both sides up and down?
I am sure it has only just started doing this in the last month or so, I could spray some grease in there to see if it stops?

My 2019 has had the same issue.... Drove me insane, lubricated everything underneath with no success. One day I was standing in front of the car when my son shut the door.... Revelation!! It was the bonnet bushes!! Popped up the bonnet, turned the two bushes to get them higher and problem solved!!
