Help needed Identifying the correct cv joint? was created by NineCherries
Not been on the forum for ages as real life took over again ;) but I’m hoping to dip into the knowledge on here to help me again.

I’m running out the door heading to work so don’t hate me if there is a similar post that I missed over breakfast :)

Q. Can you identify spline/ ball combo of the CV fitted to the car from the year (57 plate 2008) or engine identification (16v m series)? Or do i need to remove the driveshaft? I need the car for daily transport so don’t really want to put it off the road to find out what cv I need. The plan is to order the parts and have them sitting for my week off at the end of the month and do the repair then.

Any help/ advice on suppliers would be much appreciated.

That is again in advance for any help given.

Tony

My system shows it as being a

8 balls, 26 external splines and 29 internal splines CV - Suzuki part 44102-84A00

This one in the store

www.bigjimny.com/store/cv-joint-type-2.html

I have a "pre-opened" one of these (sent to a customer, tried it but it didnt fit his car, covered in oily fingerprints but never used) for £50 if you do not mind the opened box.
