Anyone done, or got a how to guide to fit DaveCC's kit?

On the 8th Day God made the LandRover -
On the 9th day he swapped it for a Jimny.

Yea I have fitted one of Dave cc rear brake kits, very well made too, if you use the rover Calipers you will need to swap over the brackets which takes the handbrake cables. Hope this helps. Fill free to ask. Nick

Hi resurrecting an old thread where I asked about fitting DaveCC’s disc conversion. I decided not to do it at the time but replacing the diff this week and still have the kit so going to fit it now. The bits4vits blog has expired, I seem to remember you had to cut the old backplate down and fit it as a retainer between axle flange and the new caliper retainer plate. Is that correct or do I just remove the backplate completely? Thanks, John.
