Oh yes Martin, seen you were after one as well:blink:

I've sourced one up here. Are you going to do the 413 and 410 combination ( rocklobster)??? to give the 4.16 ratio?? I was thinking of this to run 32" tyres. do you think that would be ok or go for 5:1 ratio????????

I now have both a 410 and 413 box so I am going for a Rocklobster at 4.16. Basically I used to have a RockLobster on my old SJ and loved it. I have TrialJimny gears on my Jimny and they are not as good (not such a good ratio and I suspect they are part of the chain damage problem)

Therefore I am building the box over Christmas and waiting for Off-road Armoury Rob to make the 410 box mounting kit.

I don't know about the best ratio for 32" tyres. 4.16 is certainly good for most uses. The problem with other ratios (5.1, 6.1 and 8.1) is that they are special (ie. expensive! - £500 upwards) gearsets whilst 4.16 is home built from existing gearsets (£80). Therefore price is my key reason for going 4.16

Martin,i have a 413 tranfer box complete and getting the 2 gears required from the 410. Gettin them sent up from England rather than the whole box.

Is it the 413 box everything should be housed in?????????

I certainly built my last one, for the SJ, in the 413 case.
