jimny engine ! was created by jonnyebz
Can anyone tell me if the engine on an auto jimny is different to a manual, have managed to source an engine for my jimny ( mine's manual ) but it's off an auto so not sure if there's an adaptor plate or some other difference ??
Cheers...Jon

The engine itself will be the same. The flywheel and clutch assembly will need removing from your old engine and putting on the new engine. Depending on how much is still attached to the new engine (did you get the auto gearbox - can I have it :) ) you will probably have a plate and torque converter where the flywheel goes. You will have to strip these off the new engine.
