I’m facing an issue with my jimny I got stuck in the mud yesterday i engaged the 4wheel low to come out of the mud after removing the 4wd I keep hearing a snapping sound when I move off in 1st gear and also when I clutch in to switch frm 1st to 2nd gear

First things first get under the car and give everything a good hard wiggle with your hands and see if anything is moving more than it should for instance do the propshafts have any vertical or horizontal movement, does the transfer box move up or down. Then lift the wheels one at a time and feel for movement top to bottom and side to side and when rotating listen for odd noises.

I didn’t find anything wrong now the jeep has a heavy vibration when it’s idling and and sometimes I hear a similar sound when I start the vehicle

If there's nothing obvious and it's getting worse then I would suggest booking it in with your local specialist for a thorough exam as it could be a fairly serious issue.

Have a look at the crankshaft front pulley, they have a nasty habit of delaminating, and vibrate under load, then after a while when you rev it up the whole outside comes off.

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)
