No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationHas anybody upgraded the embarrassing "lamb bleat" standard Jimny horn?
(2020 model)

Just wondering what to fit, l've got a new Land Rover horn in the garage it's more of a "moo" than a "baaa" and may be an improvement , but l imagine twin horns would be better.

Something like this maybe.

Some people have fitted those nautilus ones but personally I think the meep meep suits the character of the Jimny well.

A Fiamm AM80 is industry standard for good reason. High or low note, or a pair it's up to you. A single is of course much easier to fit, l have a single low note. My fear of peep peep horns is if it sounds like a Vespa other motorists will treat it as one.

I fitted a Fiamm air horn with twin trumpets. The term "Audible warning of approach" should be just that, Audible.

Looks good. Is it just a matter of replacing the existing horn with this one, using the same wiring, or is it more complicated? Many thanks.

It needs a permanent 12v supply otherwise the tone reverts to the first one, I used a spare live appearance in the fuse box that I attached a small spade connector to.
I mounted mine under the front, behind the arb off a spare captive nut down on the chassis

I used a pair of Hella Sharptones mounted up front with a little fiddling, I'll take a photo later.
I put a fused 12v+ and a 2nd relay to trigger them, I took a feed off the existing relay so when the horn is pushed, it trips the OEM relay which then supplies 12v to the main relay for the new horn.

They're obnoxiously loud, just what you want in a small car like the Jimny, they cut through anything.

An Aussie has fitted a train horn to his. Mounted on the roof rack. I'll see if I can find the video.
I've experienced it in person. It's not something that can be ignored.
