Authorities with sense, Lambert, I'd rather look for hen's teeth. Luckily I'll not need to now with the lifting of the lockdown, a few weeks ago it looked like I'd be trapped here, now not.

Yes, Cailean, borders will be open soon, so I'll be freed. Confusion is often blown-away by experience. I'll let you know how I get on towing the caravan across the EU. Hopefully, the experience will not be too confusing and I'll arrive unscathed with both the Jimny and the Iona.

Stick to motorways if you can, those have relative flat gradient compared to country roads. Keeping the minimum speed coul be a real challenge on some hills though. Good luck on that long journey Tony!

Unless I misunderstood the issue, EU countries have agreed to open borders from June 2. There are different quarantine issues to look at but from then you can travel. Actually, people are crossing via the eurotunnel now.

Yes treps, all looks fine now, I hope to cross by ferry into France - Calais. And straight through to home. Once I've fixed the petrol leak that is, which I have worked on today and posted in the tech chat tonight.
Cheers
Tony
