Diff breathers was created by Mole
I been reading up on the diff breathers I read on a post here the wading depth is something like 600mm but what will the breathers actually cope with, will the stay water tight with the occasional dunk or is it better to just not submerge them

Hi Mole - I thought the wading depth on the Gen 4 was 210mm. Maybe wrong on that. I am not certain by how much the breathers will increase that - but would be really interested to find out i.e. before the 'next thing in line' gets affected by the water level.
I intend to fit breathers myself (to the Jimny - don't think they'll do much for me personally!), and appreciate you raising the topic. Thanks

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configuration@ Mole I don't know what year jim you have
But i got a 1/8 bsp tapered tap and pulled off the breather cap tapped the spout
Then used these
Cheap as chips compared to the kits you can buy

Better safe than sorry imo
You can never tell how deep it is
I have them on axles, transfer, gearbox all up to a manifold on bulk head then up into top of snorkel
Cost me around a tenner
