New Jimny waiting list

This is a great review of the Jimny that i've not seen before! Have to say the bonnet graphics looks great also, anyone come across those on their travels?

So jealous of you guys that are even being given indicative dates!
Hopefully some time in 2019.....

I was told I'd have a call back before close of play today with more details about the ship my order is on...nothing. Not overly impressed with the overall communication from my dealer Looks like I'll be calling them again tomorrow.

I understand there's not a great deal they can do, but making me feel valued and just keeping me up to date would go a long way, even by email which they do send out when they've sent me info before, but don't seem to reply to.

Even if your dealer knows the exact spec of your car, the name of the ship, its UK port of arrival, the date and time it comes alongside the quay and what the captain had for breakfast - -there's another small issue that I've discovered.

After all the vehicles have been driven off the ship and parked up in the arrivals area - there's the small question/challenge of when and in what order the transporter trucks will get a mix of vehicles out of the storage area and into your dealership? There can be quite a time lapse between the first vehicles coming off a ship and the last vehicles getting to your dealership - as I have experienced. I've been told that "Patience is a virtue".

I'd be getting in somebody's face if I had left a deposit in September and still not heard anything by the following January, especially when other people are taking delivery on much shorter lead times.

I’m told that mine is “in the system” and is sitting somwhere in Grimsby waiting to be collected.
I’d offer to go and collect it myself if I thought it would get me anywhere.......

Agreed, there is something not right with that. I was offered a SZ4 last week! And that was on the day i turned up out the blue!! I know its a lottery, but that sounds really iffy. Hope you get it sorted buddy.
