Hi
I need to get four new tyres on my stsndard steel wheels.
I was hoping to go 215/75/15 as the forum says they are the largest I can fit on standard ride height
I am running 1" spacers
Will they still fit ?

they will catch the front arches a bit, may need a bit of trimming to bumper, rear of front wheel arch trims and arch liners. more of a problem if you have mudflaps (which will need to come off). Rear was OK for me however with 215 BFG AT's (in the past!)

My front 215s (with a 2" lift) catch (just) even without spacers!

Remoulds will probably rub regardless of spacers. Normal tyres will rub with the spacers on but fine if you remove them
On my current Jimny I've still got the mudflaps on without issues but on my previous one I had to remove them.

Would a 215/70/15 be a better choice with spacers ??

215/75/15 and no spacers is the best bet.
