Not *exactly* today, but at the weekend... Received and fitted a new EGR bonnet protector (want to try to keep her as pristine as possible, for as long as possible!) and a bonnet insulator (to try and minimise a little of the engine noise) and a Power+ throttle controller...(read lots of positive reviews for these) - have been happy with it on auto mode so far).

Got a tint fitted to the front....
Surely it is now illegal to drive on the road in the U.K. and unroadworthy now?

The front windscreen must let at least 75% through and the front windows 70% through to be legal, see

www.gov.uk/tinted-vehicle-window-rules

It's difficult to tell from the photo but it could be legal, blocking 25% of the light is quite a heavy tint.

It looks like a Cameleon tint, which are UK legal as long as they let in the correct amount of light as said by DrRobin.

I am surprised they haven't been outlawed though, due to traffic cameras not being able to identify the driver?

Thanks. I thought there was something about being able to see and identify the driver too. Maybe it isn’t a regulation though. But hence you couldn’t have essentially a 1 way mirror as your windscreen. Either way, can’t say I’m a fan. Something you expect to find on a chavved up Audi or BMW.
