I know it seems like a daft question but I'm curious as to how you actually flip it over.

@ jimnydms: no idea

@ MysticRich: my front radius arms aren't just tubes - 2/3 of the front part of front radius are two tubes welded together and 2/3 of the rear part of front radius are also two tubes, but smaller inside of the bigger one (tight fit and welded).

@ helijohn: two average size men and a hydraulic lift :)

Steering gear (don't know if it's the right name for it...)

And something interesting.

Small update - we're almost done with steering and panhard rods. Everything has been fitted, but of course the mounts are going to be properly welded and reinforced.
Something unusual - the panhard rod is behind the front axle :)
Pity we can work on my Jimny only afternoons :(

Today we've put the body on the chassis to see how the axles flex and to trim the wheel arches. We also started to weld the front shock dampers mounts.

We just finished shock dampers mounts. Fotos are bad quality because I took them with a cell phone.

Front:

Rear. There's a lot of space between A-radius and the body, so I'm considering putting there a fuel tank.
