Hi all, just a quick update I rubbed the spare wheel holder down then painted it with hammerite. With disscussions before i bought 12mm rubber washers 3mm thick, there were 1&half mm but i thought just a bit bigger gap would let the water run down easier.
Then bolted all together
I then added the wheel
As you notice i have debadged the boot door also. So I have to take the car back to the garage to get a hole sorted then i can get the back finished so i can get out with my birds. Once this is done i will fit the rear tints i have as i dont want them damaged. So thats that for now,in the future when money and 1 comes available i would like to fit a spoiler and rear step

That's a very tidy rear! Looking forward to seeing the tints on. If it's the solarplexius kit you have do it on a warm day the when I fitted mine xmas day it was too cold and the securing sticky tabs on mine didn't stick for long on the rear screen But they do supply a generous amount to keep for spares.

Thanks jim i havnt been told i had a tidy rear for many a year  No seriously thanks mate yes its the same as your tints so thank you for the advice. Its got to go back to the garage to get a hole they missed so it should be done in 3 weeks time due to it being the only time i can get the jimjim over to him. Then i can finish fitting the boot out, then I can put the tints in Woohooooooo :woohoo:

Hi all, thought i would show you what ive been doing and to see what you think. Got stuff still to do but heres how it is just now hope you like it
So firstly gotsteps and bull bar back from powder coating.
I started in the boot, trying to sort the rust etc out. Well after alot of hard work and a fair bit of money i think of got some where.
I then painted over with hammerite and then fitted all new plastic plugs etc.
Then fitted the trim..
Then made a floor from ply with a removeable panal to get the wheel remover kit..
Then got some 3mm plastic flooring...
Then added a new gun rack on the back of the front seats
Then fitted new wind deflectors....
Then fitted the rear tints, which didnt go well as the rear window perspex wasnt cut out properly the rear window heater parts wernt cut deep enough so had to do some adapting..
So now looks like this....
Then fitted the side steps...
So thats where im at, what you think.
