I'd go silver to match the bumpers but get a bit of spare paint for touching in scrapes
The black roof bars/rack will match the hardtop

I think given the places we get to you'll be touching them up a lot, so go for black.

Hmmm, good point GareeeeE! Black would seem the sensible colour?

I'd go black, having been some of the places you guys go and my sliders have taken direct hits on rocks, slid along mud sections where they stick out wider too and have touched them up many a time. Don't bother with powder coating them either as it's harder to paint over - just Hammerite Satin black from a spray can and some in a tin for careful brushing on when touching up.
Good luck with the MOT! It should be fine as you know your onions! I doubt you'd put it in for an MOT if you knew something was iffy Dave.

I'd go Green or Brown ... or even bright yellow, so you
a) Green/Brown - fit in with the leaves and the Mud
b) Yellow, so you can see them!!

Hi Rich
Yes, had it on on some of the 'lanes in the Lake District on it's first trip out... you can hear the compressor topping up in some of the videos
www.bits4vits.co.uk/store/lake-district-.../07/14/blog_282.html
Just as I wanted it... open diff on the road, so excellent road manners, and then at the flick of a couple of switches it's locked solid... Awesome.
Many thanks to Rockwatt for installing it in the diff for me And he's currently got a fron diff and the LSD to blend together too...

Looks like black for the sill protectors then! That is the most common colour the powdercoaters do, and it's nice and easy to touchup too... and the rear winch tray and JimnyBits ARB disconnect can go in as a batch which should make it a bit cheaper...
Just gotto weldthem all up first though...
Secondhand Vitara Parts Clearout tomorrow though, and we're out 'laning around Shropshire next weekend... hopefully make a start on Wednesday then?..
