Vehicle built in 2006 with only 90 000 km traveled.
Corolla is a superbly well built passenger vehicle. Quality build and not too "electronical".

Not technically my 'other car' as I traded it in yesterday for the new Jimny. But if anyone is interested in the last 7 years of my motoring then you'll find it all here in My iQ Thread
And if anyone is after a good secondhand small car then I would highly recommend an iQ!

That replaced a Sigma 125 Roadsport Caterham which has great fun but very weather dependent.
The Jimny, when I get it, will be my daily, replacing my GT86.
The missus has a Fiesta ST for current sensible duties but I fear that role may swap.

Great collection of Classics Roger! I wanted a TC but got a an MG J2 - Im sure you'll know what that is.
The Kestrel is a beautiful car.
I've a friend selling a Riley Brooklands and another with a 1936 A7 Ruby.
Whereabouts do you live?

I am in Dorset.
Yes, I know of the J2 model, an iconic MG for sure.
I have traced the history of my TC which you can read here if interested:

The Riley has been mine since 1986 and my daily driver for many years - but now retired - like me!
I bought the Austin 7 in 2002 thinking it is the same car as I previously owned in the 1960s. The paper trail says it is, but on delving further it is not and was the object of some shenanigans by a number plate dealer. Never mind, I still love it!
The VW camper was bought in 2000 to use when I got a job 100 miles away with a vintage Bentley restorer and didn't fancy commuting. I enjoyed this hippy life so much that it is still my preferred holiday accommodation.
I got the Jimny as an MOT failure only 3 months ago, mainly to use around our fields, but it didn't take long to recognise what a little character it is and so I have done the necessary for it to take its MOT test tomorrow morning.
Cheers,
Roger

The TC story is a terrific read (I doff my cap to you). I've only ever driven a TC once and that was a cream one owned by a fellow called John Andrews (Oxon) who also has a K3 replica!
I notice acknowledgement to Roger Furneaux - he supplied my modified half-shaft seals for the J - deffo the way forward
Oddly my J2 spent some time in Dorset - at Lulworth army camp, and was probably taxed in Wareham, so we have a very slight connection I also bought the Rotax headlamps from Willy McKenzie of Austin Seven Repro.
