Looking at Trailwise there is only one legacy route over 'white' roads. This looks like it may be contentious with the locals from the comments.
I would suggest that you may have been engaging in some illegal off-roading there. Not knowing the legal status of the lane is no excuse for just having a play. The local council hold a 'definitive map' which shows what is legally allowed to be driven on. Being caught going off-piste can lead to the vehicle being seized and a massive fine imposed (quite rightly too).
My apologies if I am wrong about this, but please explain it a little better.

Yeah, just that one dirt road known as Keighley Road. I did email Bradford council about it a couple of years ago and they stated that the route is an official road but unsuitable for most motors. Like I say that was a couple of years ago so maybe something has changed. There are no signs up to say otherwise, just that you shouldn't go onto the moors.
