Hey everyone I'm Martin new to the fourm. I stay in Central Scotland and have owned my sj 6 years now. Started off with a 1.6 8v with a su when I picked it up. Now running a 8v with injection 33s and a internal cage. Winchmax up front and a welder in the back. Quite fun and capable.

Currently been putting a bulk head in the back and relocating my fuel tank again. Also ordered some ome 40mm lift heavy springs for it and going to grab some new shocks on pay day.

How she started

How she was looking till last week

Will do my best to keep this updated with my progress
Cheers Martin

Ahh love the SJ. Welcome to the forum! Bought my First one in 1997 and had many since. Most for parts and still got 1,5 cars. One project car and half a car as a trailer. Both lwb.
I had a SJ with the same 40mm Springs, crawler transfer, lockers and 325-60-15 bfg. Great offroad. Hoping to get my next SJ back on plates next year.
Looking forward too see more of your car.

Thanks for the positive feedback! Done quite abit since my last post. First I did some welding to the back including adding a short bulk head in behind the seats.  This was also started as the vitara fuel tank was just cut into the floor behind the seats. At the time I was less worried but started thinking what if it ever did go up. So now it fitsunderneath with some slight modifications to the factory mounts and some new support bars.  Changed my Tailgate over aswell as it was bent and the previous owner had cut two holes in it for the tails. This ment redoing my bumper to take the lights. Also decided to add some waterproof connectors at the same time.
