Would you buy an SJ413 over a jimny?

I've seen a 1995 SJ413 for sale with 50k on the clock and in vgc for £1600, expensive I know but looks damn cool!

Would anyone consider having one over a jimny or is the jimny a much better bet?

Depends what you want it for. Iv owned both and for purely offroad go for the Sj, but if your using it as a daily and doing more than a few miles it wouldn't be my first choice. The jimny is a good allrounder good off road and ok on the road, and with the jim you have a few mod cons that the Sj hasn't got. I only got ride of my Sj because I was doing a lot more green laning rather that p& p so I had to drive on the lanes. If I had storage I would have kept the Sj and trailed it. My days of 400 mile round trips in a Sj have long gone

Is it a regular SJ413 or a Samurai?

If it's a regular SJ413, I wouldn't waste my money on it.
But a Samurai is a bit different, with wider axles, also I believe a bigger engine. But most important, lots of upgrades from the US available :)

Cheers lads, it's advertised as a samurai, looks good although not seen it yet so not sure about rust underneath! Is a Samurai worth so much??

Not now, I've had 2 samurais in the past and they are brill, I only got rid of my last one cos I was fed up of chasing the tin worm and I wanted something that would start in the mornings, but I do miss it, but I love my jimny more :)

No, the Jimny is a far better all rounder. Good SJs are now going for a lot of money, well into Jimny terratory. The coily SJs are nowhere near to the refinement of a Jimny either, they still crash about over every bump.

Some Suzukis and a bunch of motorcycles.
