I'm going for a matt bonnet too, to cover up some "battle scars" cheaper and easier than filling and spraying etc....

Me thinks I'll pop my bonnet off and get it done, hoping on about £15 should cover it. Been told to give it a light sand to get rid of any crap off it, then apply the vinyl with soapy water and shrink with a heat gun, But i'm not doing it, im sure he will do it for a happy meal! Fancy a superman logo on it.:silly:

Yep apparently it needs to be free of loose paint and rust so i'll give the rough area a wet sanding and get a sign place to lay it. I had a mad thought of doing it in urban camouflage but thought it might be a bit OTT for daily use. I'm now thinking just matt black and silver SUZUKI lettering on the leading edge like the old sj's.

Quick update.Work done over last couple of months. Decided to spray my bonnet satin black as I had a few cans, Fitted 4.5'' lift using Jimnybits springs and B4V spacers, Fitted ORA castor correction arms front and rear with super pro polybushes, Prop spacer from Jimnybits, New Pro-comp E3000 front shocks as 1 was leaking.

Currently in process of trimming all arches and respraying satin black.
Have today fitted Jimnybits 2''bodylift just worried about my steering rack as it is about 6mm to short?? its only half on the steering pump end.:-( When are spacers going to be available????

Still to fit rough country steering damper, and anything else I can think of. :-)
