1st one i ve seen with fiddle brakes bet you run rings round the land rovers
have you just used the normal handbrake cables attached to each handle
if so do you not have a master handbrake requirement for road legal (mot/iva test)

the rear manual handbrake it's ilegale on the road in france

The longer spring is probably for the drivers side front to fix the "jimny lean"
jimnys suffer from a slight lean to the drivers side, this is what the extra length is for.
