Suzie lost som body panels in the garage last saturday, but also gained a set of bigger tires. The body mounts have to be adjustes, i guess that is what sledgehammers are made for?
But now the small truck is getting dangerously high even in 1st low. I have to do something about the transfer.
My main plan is Suzuki 413 transfer, with superlow gearing kit. I guess 4,9 is suitable, but some advise will be appretiated.
I.E i would like to know about quality differences between different gear manufacturers...

Hey another Norwegian!!
Velkommen!
Yes for a 99 a 410/413 transfer case is the way to go. You can get lucky and find a used low box in Norway either cloned or built with ready made transfer gears.
I had a SJ413 with a home made 4.16:1 low range, it was ok for 31" tyres but 4.9 would be better.
Depending on the size of tyres you can aim for as low as possible. I take it roads and highways are not the main use for this?
I dunno what gears are the best, but I guess sumo billet from Japan would be best.
Generally speaking 6.5:1 is the only ones I heard of breaking so guessing most are ok at lower ranges.
Had trail gear myself. lots of noise but they still work over 40000km later.
Also welded home made gears in my SJ worked fine after 30-40000km

Used boxes are getting hard to find, but i have my eyes on a Samurai 413 box, that is suitable for a rebuild..
My Suzie will probably never be road-used again. I have other cars for that use....
(its a bit hard for the small Suzuki to be concidered over my ML 166 for a highway cruise... )
Og ja, offroadmiljøet i Norge er ikke stort lengre, dessverre!
