Couple of things happened meanwhile - oil change (engine - 0W20 BTW, gearbox and diff), new filters and drive belts.
On the accessories lane, just checked-in a steering damper from Ironman and a Bravo snorkel.
Finally I have succeeded neatly fitting the new Pioneer HU into the dashboard - many thanks to NineCherries for the advice, much appreciated indeed! Oh and - bonus - I have managed to trick the unit so that to play video files no matter the handbrake position...
Next chapter is fitting rear speakers and maybe applying some sound insulation material along the way (use the opportunity of having half of the car's interior dismantled already).

Status update
Got the rear speakers (Audison APX5) installed. It's been quite a DIY project since I have also used the opportunity to perform some sound deadening work in the rear half of the car (been using STP Black Silver 1.8mm foil).
Totally happy with the results, solid improvement in the ICE department and also the road noise decreased sensibly.

Time for an update -
New wheels in place - 205/75 R15 Grabber AT3's on pitch-black Dotz Dakar rims.
Steering wheel now leather wrapped.
Things only get better I guess

Now having the OME 4cm suspension lift fitted and 215/75 R15 BFGoodrich Mud Terrain tires.
