The seats is the best investment for sure!

Think I paid 2500 for my seats and sold the old ones for approx. the same.
2009 and later Jimny seats also good, and leather steering wheel from those as well.. But not so many Jimnys around to pick from.
Norway 2005 Jimny M16A VVT, 235 BFG MT, 2" Trailmaster, ARB rear lck, 17%/87% high/low gears.

Youre seats would do the job for me no doubdt! Up to 2004 that is, i.e. pre vvt models?
Not too easy to find any good Jimny parts in Norway, to few sold..

No only the Norwegian 2004 models, sold in high numbers. The earlier is actually 1999/2000 models all of them i think.
The 2004 have color coded mirrors and roof rails, AC/leather/m13a (no VVT) and a bit more extra.
2004 seats have better side support as well.
Then next time with better seats is 2009 or later i think but too few of those sold..
2009 and later have Jimny stitched in the seats and is full leather.
Edit: If you look at: www.finn.no/car/used/search.html?make=0.811&model=1.811.7142 You can see what is available regarding year models.
Sorry for hijacking your thread with this Mads
