No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationre stereo
Mine was a flip front so bigger than standard double din and if I remember it was a very similar gap as yours with gaps both sides and a snug fit top and bottom.
I bought a universal flat trim and glued it on but I had to curve it slightly with a heat gun so that it would stick without springing off and I also eased the bottom edge to allow the stereo face to flip up as it caught slightly when it moved.

I started off high and worked my way down ever since :-)

Cheers.
You can actually buy a replacement full fascia, the whole panel with a square cornered double din hole, but it's extortionate at about £100 from various sellers.

Have decided how to mount my extra switches and USB charger and voltmeter... After lots of trawling the net decided on an electronics box which will/should perfectly fit the collection of switches etc and will mount perfectly under the ashtray/on the unused front cubby. Trial fit looked spot on.

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationthey look good on the angle,

ive seen this (for a defender), but i think could be adapted for a jimny...

Ive a similar set of carling switches that need somewhere to go and was wondering about the roof, seems a nice bit of space just above the light that could be handy ;-)

Cheers guys, I saw the LR roof lining one but wasn't sure how to secure it and I had the two round accessories to mount also.

I would have mounted in the ashtray but use that for loose change and not big enough for three switches and the two round accessories unfortunately.

Finally fitted my snorkel tonight after dinner, took a couple of hours and did it lazily by not removing the wheel or battery. I've had it in the garage for a couple of months but decided it was time to do it.

That's most of my pre planned bigger jobs now done, only need to finish wiring my lights when I get a spare bit of time.... But the fishing season is underway so spare time is precious :)

My original inspiration...

My Jimny as of tonight....

I'm very happy with how it's turned out.
