biggaz wrote: Cheers mate, im thinking about it.... get them on a bit quicker if i make some up.
Need to have a bit measure up and see what size joints, tube etc id need?? Any ideas lol
ORA ones are 6mm!! wall tube, thats pretty hefty isnt it!
Also, if your using a tube with rose joints are you welding in a threaded insert or a nut on the end like others do?
im not sure how much longer they need to go either, with a 3" lift how much longer do the panhards need to be.... confusing lol!
you want 12mm rose joints as iv been told the bolt size is 12mm. im going to use threaded insert and a nyloc nut to tighten it all up. im only using 2.94mm wall thickness but it is thick enough for me and works out perect size on 3/4" tubing. to get length take off original, rock car sideways, leave to settle and measure

i presume you meen 3/4" i/d tube your using ???
ive just ordered some 26.9mm o/d 3mm wall to make mine but im going the m20 threaded rod way.
i was going to just mod my standard rods but decided to just make them from scratch as they will be a little stronger than standard ones

adamjimny wrote: no 3/4" od which works out about 13mm id so perfect for the rose joints and weld the threaded insert onto the end but im considering bigger tubing and putting the threaded insert inside the tube for extra strength hmmmm
yes will be better inside the tube thats why they are called inserts
m12 inserts are 20mm o/d the tube i ordered is 20.9mm i/d so i think that size would be good for use with them inserts

Cleaned up a bit and cut in half and chopped out whats needed to make them standard width once the threads and nuts in.
Hole drilled in the short end then threaded bar welded in through there.
Quick coat of zinc primer and 20mm angle iron welded along length, very sturdy now lol!
The threaded bar also runs from all the way to the left bush and 3/4 way along the panhard so should be tough!
Fitted, at same length as standard panhard until both are fitted.
Quick lick
