NineCherries wrote: Nice one. I'm jealous you have had the chance to do some estate driving. I live I Scotland and would love the opportunity to get out in the wilds, Scotland is such a beautiful place. Keep posting about your adventures :) glad you lived to tell the tale though, the wee black jimny took a beating.

I like it here very much, there is a bit of a 'rain shadow' in the NE so not too bad weather-wise, I like the snow in the Cairngorms, and the long days in summer are great.

Love the red, looks like quite the machine. I also know what you mean about black ones being invisible just a pity it doesn't extend to speed cameras. If you do get back onto the estate and need assistance I am also a trained surveyor and I'm sure I could run to camping in the wilderness for a few months

Thanks, will do. Jobs like that don't come along often though. Speed cameras for me haven't been much of an issue with the big tyres, though there is a sneaky 20mph zone along the coast here (not a school zone) where the camera van was parked the other day, and I nearly got it... Figures!

Thanks for the great read! I'm impressed that you were able to stick weld in a new boot floor in, I replaced my floor as well but I used a Mig which was difficult enough.
