You don't keep your wife in the back there do you? I had visions of her wanting a dog in the back to keep her company as you make her sit in there!

If she keeps moaning about the money I've spent on it , she'll be moving in there permanently , Haha !! (besides , the back is usually full of my camping gear, so no room for dogs OR the wife !!) .

Luckily my dog doesn't try to jump through so I haven't bothered with a dog guard- yours looks good though!

I did this however- small shelf knocked up to level the boot floor with the back seats and then a carpeted piece of 12 mm ply over the top. Makes a nice flat loading section and protects the seats from the dog!

don't want to be alarmist, but the guard is to stop the dog killing you or the wife in the event you have an impact and the dog hurtles through at 30 mph + hitting you and breaking your neck, if your lucky and it misses you, it'll splatter on the windscreen, whereas a dog guard would have saved it

Hahaha.....nothing like graphic imagery to get the point across !! :-) Very good point though, as I installed the guard to stop any of my camping gear decapitating me in an accident .. Death by French-Bulldog seems preferable to beheading by a cheap plastic gas stove !!! ;-)

 yeh sorry minibbb I do tend to jump straight in I'm affraid

I've opted for a removable versatile option

but an anchored harness would be equally good
