Morning all, my other 4x4 was costing rather a lot in fuel ( LR 90 V8) so I thought I'd try and pick up something a little more economical, just as a commuter, so I purchased a wee Jimny MOT failure last week, failed on a hole on the rear of the driver sill drivers front king pin and a brake pipe, got it for £400 which I thought was not too bad for a 51 plate.

I've never owned one before but I'm aware that the boot floors are prone to rot and mine was a bit scabby so I pulled the seats out to see exactly what I was facing, and it was teabagged as expected, so a bit of welding to do which doesn't phase me, I'm surprised though that nobody appears to do repair sections given how common these are for rotting in that area.

Anyway I hope to tap into the collective on my way to putting her back on the road
