GraphicX's 2000 Jimny - Honeybadger

hi guys, thought i'd post one of these up. i'm an aussie, predominantly hangout at auszookers.com but lurk here on a daily basis.

i have a 2000 jlx jimny, now fitted with a g16b, 2" crap ebay lift with king springs, 215/75 hankook dynapro mts, dimpled & grooved front disc brakes, diff breathers & a bunch of other little bits.

huge improvement with it out, but it's too unpredictable at speed so i leave it in. i tried to make a disconnect but failed miserably.

basic transfer case guard i made with 5mm steel:

g13bb coming out, had 109,000ks on the clock but was using tons of fuel & down on power, needed a good clean out in the manifolds & head:

been a while since i've updated this.

suspension - still using the king springs from the crap ebay kit, but now combined with dobinsons shocks & i'm really happy with it now. also running no sway bar again & it handles beautifully unlike before.

locker - i had a spartan auto locker in the rear for a week. it was fantastic off road, but on road it was terrible. saved my pennies & have bought an arb air locker & compressor setup. compressor is in, but locker won't go in until the week of the 18th.

also got an ebay snorkel which was surprisingly very simple to fit:





repaired a torn & deformed shock absorber mount courtesy of the crap ebay shock absorbers:





made some really basic sill protectors:





apart from that looking into fitting a 110amp alternator (unsure of fit with the G16B & the engine mount it has) & getting the air locker in place.
