what brand speakers did you fit Daniel, and can you show a pic of the mounting for the back ones. (got this to do on mine when it arrives)

Daniel30 wrote: The holes are already there once you take the rear panels off you can see them I fited edge speakers 150w 4 way about £17.00 from halfords for a pair 10cm fit perfectly, I normally go for more expensive type pioneer etc but I don't need them for the base the sub does that I turn the base off or right down on the head unit so its just the treble and mids coming out of them I don't know how they would sound normally if your not adding a sub mybe look into a better set but it works for me...... The rear speaker cables in my jimny were on the passenger side loom so I ran wires across to the drivers rear speaker its a bit time consuming taking the seats out etc but worth it I think. Oh and take off the sponge effort on the reverse of the rear panels, I think there is a link or picture on here showing you exactly what to do.

Thanks Daniel,
I suspected there would be a position for them, as I did the same to my Vitara's. I'll look into the fitting procedure.
cheers.
Paul.

There are also has a few pages at the start about it, I fitted mine a few weeks ago and once you do you'll be amazed how easy it is to do a the Jimnys are easy to pull apart.
Do you have a picture of where you mounted the sub Daniel30?

I've got 4 hertz 10cm in mine plus loads of dynamat in and around the mounting area (really helps). Bear in mind that £17 for a pair equates to a manufacturing cost of about £4 per speaker - you wont get a great sound for £4

You got any recommendations regarding the soundproofing then, Daniel?
Been thinking about this one myself while I've got all the back stripped out
