Picked this up last night, won it on eBay for a fairly cheap-ish price.

2002 "special" edition
82k miles
2 owners
Nice clean tidy example.

Plans for her..... Well I'm not to sure yet, I'm still half way through a tray back build that's been put on the back burner but will be finished as I have everything here to finish it apart from a lower ratio t-box.

So for this one, maybe some black modulars, tyres, 2" pro comp lift, A snorkle if I'm feeling flush.

Needs a really good clean inside and out, but for what I paid I'm more than happy. Here she is, I'll update tomorrow after her clean.

Now, what's so special about the "special" other than colour coded mirrors, door handles and interior? Anyone know?

Looks like a solid jimny. Were alloys over steels special?

Yeah really solid. Very little surface rust in the rear floor pan but I'll try and stop that worsening. I don't think the alloys are special specific. It's got wee badges on the wings and special stitched into the front seats.

Looks a very tidy motor. Was it only a 'good clean' that it needed?

Gave it a good check over also and it needs an exhaust really, well from the cat back. Apart from that can't complain at all, pretty chuffed with it.

New exhaust fitted and some front A/T tyres I had lying in the garage.

I've bought another Jinny that I'm breaking and keeping all the good parts for this one

Parts that were on it:

5x modulars
5x malatesta kobras
32mm wheels spacers
3" pro comp lift
Castor corrected arms
Extended brake lines
Safari snorkel
Ora tank guard
Ora t-box guard
25mm prop spacer
Hd t-box mounts
Through bolt t-box rubbers
Adjustable front and rear panahrd rods

So I'll get all those parts off and onto the silver one with the addition of a 2/3" body lift also.
