Daves Jimny beast! was created by Dave!
So a week ago (maybe less than that) i purchased myself another jimny, after previously having one last year.
I had that much fun in my last one and that only had a one inch body lift and mud tyres!
so i found my current jimny for £1200 but talked the guy down to 980 quid! (bargain)
Has a few marks on it but it will be getting battered on lanes anyway so i really don't care.
but noticed this one had no rust anywhere!
it was initially running abit rough and had a blocked cat, thanks to the guy that made the "sluggish on power" thread as you saved me alot of time and money!
so i set to work on finding parts for my jimny after getting some inspiration on here! so thanks guys!
Ive always been use to lowering cars and not raising them.
my previous lupo which i fitted hydraulics with a 8 inch lift! notice the genuine bbs rms there
More to follow... just finding images

That's not usually my cup of tea, but I like that , and hydraulics on a jimny could be fun

so next we move onto my current jimny
i dont actually have a picture of when i brought it but it just had silver wheels instead of black and no roof bars..
so like i said i have only had the car a week and in the space of three days i set to work..
i wax oiled the whole underneath of the car and painted the steels black
but in the space of 24 hours the following happened:
new cat
new off road tyres
2" lift kit
Extended brake lines
Load sensor bracket
new diff oil (front and rear)
new gear box oil
roof bars
new air filter
new spark plugs
new oil filter and fresh oil after drain
stick on number plate
removed arb
and after all that im skint until next month!
things to come:
Steering damper and shock re-locators for the rear
but heres a before and after
