Quite impressed with myself as I'm not too handy with tools but I'm trying.
Then I thought I'd whip the spare tyre off and clean the back door and spare rim, I was go smacked to find an alloy under the tyre cover  I really wasn't expecting that.
Next big job...... Remove (gulp) and clean out the washer bottle as it's full of something nasty and smelly.
I seem to have been given the pleasure of driving the Jimny recently as Mrs Warrior-Grey is running round in the L200 at the moment.
Can I ask, is it just me or do you all enjoy driving your Jimny's? Every time I get behind the wheel I start to smile, I really do enjoy driving it, him, we've named him, it started off as Grenson but progressed to Jimmy Grenson then Wee Jimmy Grenson which has to be said in a Scottish accent, don' t ask me it just happened.
Any way 4 weeks down the line and all is good, next purchase is a set of ATs as the Nexen tyres it has at the moment are ok till the road is wet and then it's like skating so ATs are on the list.

Now you've got the keys off the Mrs, keep hold of them!
Good to see you're making it your own! I ran a previous Jimny on AT's quite happily. It never got used off-road though.

There's not a lot of space left in the arches but a 2" lift will sort that out.
What I did notice while the rear wheels were off is that the rear shocks are badly corroded so a trip to Jimny Bits will be coming up soon.

Next week it's insurance time so I'm set for a full year of enjoying my Jimny.
I've had to put my 2" body lift on hold till we've sorted out wether it'll be suspension or just body lift  but in the meantime the next job is Undersealing before winter sets in.
