The day has come. Her first MOT fail.
Depending on what I can sell it for, I may need to say my goodbyes.. so I need a valuation.
54 plate, dark green (metallic)
It's got about 55,000 miles on it and few battle scars.
No heavy mods. Just roof lights.
(personal plate not included)
The engine runs as it should..and once I've scraped the barrel to get her out of the MOT bay, there'll be some brand new rear brakes - shoes and cylinders and swivel bearings.. so i got that going for me, which is nice.
So yeah, what do you think I'll get for it? - be honest!
Cheers,
Luke

It needs some new rear brakes - shoes and cylinders and swivel bearings.. and the clutch is on it's way out too.
(It's been tightened up once already)

So you may as well fix it and keep it

I plan on getting it all fixed.. then selling it. .. however, every time I get it fixed, I DO want to keep it.. then 6 months later, she's back in the garage and my hands, back in my pockets!
So she needs to go!
I'm going to aim to get around Ā£3000 when it's in perfect working order. MOT'd, the lot.

I think that's aiming way to high I know some one that's been struggling to sell one that's around same year and mileage but never been offroad and is near mint for less and the price keeps dropping, they defo don't sell well this time of year I think you iver be selling low or waiting till the winter, its a sad thing but meny will agree its true

Yep I would agree. The prices have dropped like a lead balloon recently.

Do the work yourself, if you don't know how, learn. The parts are about Ā£50.
Then keep it and carry on enjoying it.
