The wrangler just didn't do what it said on the tin.
I bought it with just under 5kmiles on it which is almost new. It didn't do the Mpg claimed 2.8 diesel stop/start 6 speed.
I had a hard top and a soft top , the hard top with removable panels leaked even after the dealer supposedly repaired it.
The water was setting off the alarm. It Just wound me up that I could find a puddle of water under my floormat.
So I took it to we buy any car they offered me about £750 below the private guide price.
I couldn't believe that its 2014 and a company cannot get something so basic as keeping water out. with only 4mnths warranty left what else was going to annoy me.
So good by crappy wrangler.
hello Jimny
Leaking new cars eh , my mate bought a brand new defender a few months back cost him just shy of 28k with the extras he had put on it, every time it rains it gets a puddle in the back, he took it back to the dealer cos it's brand new and under warranty and their response was to shrug their shoulders and say it's a defender, that's what they do. Laughed my pants off when he told me cos I told him not to get one. It does look cool though

Just sold a newish Jeep wrangler the jimny is like a miniature wrangler except the jimny is likeable.
I hated the wrangler piece of American Junk.
Already another jimny pulled up alongside us at the traffic lights and shouted out of the window "Hi".
I like the fact that I have had the jimny a week and I already have downloaded a manual , I know every spare part and how much it costs. Will probably do the mechanicals and servicing myself.
Because I learned to drive the Wrangler economically my first calculations of my jimny mpg is at least 36mpg.
My first job is to get rid of the smell of "DOG" I think the previous owner must have had a big smelly Mutt in the back.
Well that's what I think the smell is.
