Hi I just thought I would say hello as I am new to this forum.
Just a bit about my Jimny history
I bought a new Jimny in 2010 on the scrapage scheme using a rotten discovery 1.
I absolutely loved it but in 2012 traded it in for a defender 90 pickup (stupidly) as I always wanted one and an offer came up that I had to take. after a while I realise that it was not as practical as I fist thought.
Ever since then I have always wanted another one so sometime in the next few months I'm looking at getting one
I thought I would join this to share information as this forum provided me with useful info.
I also have a Vitara that is my off road toy at the moment that I have spent a lot of time modifying.
I have attached some pics of it on a trip around Wales. Also one of my Vit!

Lol, I bought a new jimny in 2004, spent loads on it and stupidly sold it in 2006 to bug a discovery for towing. I've had a few Jimmy's in between but managed to buy back my first one the other month, chuffed to bits. Pics on bits4vits.co.uk under 'read our blogs' mines the silver one with the black hardtop.

Wales was amazing but had a few mechanicals in our group. V6 vitara broke a piston another jimny did a head gasket and another vit did a radiator :S all in one week!! very bad luck
The views from Happy Valley are stunning I would defiantly recommend it and the lanes are not too harsh but i would advise you take waffle boards as there are some large rocks.
