Haven't had chance to measure the width of them yet, will get round to it tomoz hopefully! But I was just wondering is it illegally to have this amount of tyre protruding from the arches?

No it's not. The wheel arch must cover the tread of the tyre.

Tell you what I used for that extra ½" was this; it was just enough to cover the ACTUAL tread viewed directly from above.

I've just done this myself with a similar rubber strip. Just to keep it on the legal side, easy to do, I self tapped my in rather than self adhesive.

Did you ever get your jimny lifted? How have the wheels been? Any scrubbing or catching?

Ive seen a set forsale and i think it would take alot more than 2" lift to get away with them

The sticky really held fast. I tried removing some and it wouldn't budge. :ohmy:

about to order some 195/80's but this had got me really tempted to get some new 10" wheels!! looks so sick!
