Thanks for all the coments guys!
i am doing a G16B conversion into a mates sierra in a few weeks, payment is ANOTHER set of CSA mags.. so my trailer and spare's will both have matching mags.
the batterys are hooked up in line.. one is just a bigger battery... the single + lead has a manual isolator in it (from a winch) so to turn the second battery off you have to pop the bonnet and actually "turn it off". from the second batery i run lines down to the rear of the car, into some anderson plugs (that then run a power cable into my camper trailer) and power outlets. so i can simply disconnect the battery from the main car, and run the lights/sterio/charger's for phone's etc in my trailer all night, in the morning, start up the jimny (off the main battery) and then click the isolator across and charge up the second battery. it sounds complicated, but is a fail safe way to run the camper trailer. i am planning on driving up the east coast of Australia in a few months (4000km ish all up) with the camper so it needs to be 100%, id hate to be stuck in the middle of nowhere with a car that wont start.
i also have a 120AMP alternator.
here is a pic of under the bonnet to give you guys a idea of what im taking about.
And some more random snaps for you!
And here is a quick run though of my camper trailer build
Let me know what you guys think
Phil

Trailer looks great and i like it the way you did made it, but just one question.
For safety reasons, don't you want to put a braking axle underneath it?
I think with the tent on top and all your gear in it, i suppose it will weight around the 750 kg's (around 1650 pounds).
When you're driving downhill or braking hard, that will push very hard !!
Take care for that !

the trailer loaded up should be MUCH lighter than that.. im aiming around the 500kg range. i have had more than that on the back of the jim with no real issues. just need to be aware of it. i feel no need for breaks on the trailer.
Unfortuatly i dont have many offroad pics of the jimny since i painted it!
However here are my last few Suzuki's
Richy
sj410
1ltr motor, 4.1 reduction gears, welded rear diff, welded jimny front diff with 1300 N/T sierra Cv's Big guard cut and 32x11.5s
was built as a bit of a laugh and did me VERY proud in a comp a few weeks ago! sold him not long after to pay for the remainder of the camper trailer
here is my flat tray sierra build, its not much atm but will be... LWB sierra, swb ute choped soft top shell, modified vitara rear diff, twin locked, 34x9.5 swampers, guard cut 2inch lift, i have a maruti cab to go on it also.
and here is one of my old sierras..
98 Coil sprung sierra, Gti twin cam, 6.5 reduction gears, 2inch springs and 2inch body lift, rear locker, 31inch super swampers, Maruti cab ETC ETC ETC i sold this to buy my jimny
All for now
