Luckily before my brakes started playing up again, I was able to get out to Wolvens Lane on Friday evening.

The J didn't break a sweat even though there were a few hairy moments but that was more me being a noobie than the J being out of its depth.

Here is a video of the journey :)

I took me about 1/2 an hour because I took it easy being on my own. Once I get the brakes sorted out then I will give you a shout. There are quite a few lanes around Leigh Hill so I intend on seeing as many as possible :)

Nice. I used to do the lanes around Leigh Hill quite often a few years back when I lived in Crawley and Surrey Suzuki was quite active. Always an enjoyable trip, is Beggars Hill Lane still open?

Some Suzukis and a bunch of motorcycles.

@tadpole. I dont have anything to compare it with but I am guessing it was quite mild. I looks like some work had been done as well. There is a volunteer group that (TRF?) that helps keep them open and maintained.

@rhinoman. I dont know but will check the Surrey CC BOAT list. Was it OK for stock J's when you used it?

There was a white transit van parked up halfway through the video. Would he have had to travel down that lane to get where he was :S

It was usually passable with care, it tends to suffer from water erosion down the middle.

Some Suzukis and a bunch of motorcycles.

I wouldn't mind coming over Surrey way to lane with a bunch of you one day perhaps if I'm welcome - will bring the Mrs out for an airing perhaps!
