I received the new rear arms today and they look to be a massive improvement on the ones I was first sent, the new ones are over 50mm longer then the crap ones I first received and look to be reasonably well built.
Hopefully I will get a chance to fit them this weekend.

Time for a update. Car is going very well and I am happy with how it now works.
Have a 15000km outback trip planned for September and October, can't wait to head off.
