Woolfords Jimny

Hi All,

After looking for a small 4x4 for a weekend toy to go green laning and shooting I am now the proud owner of a 2001 plate Jimny . Its only got 58k on the clock and has suzuki 16" alloy wheels with some cheap mud tyres on. I plan on doing a few mods to take on some tougher lanes. It has some mild rust on it I need to take a look at before it gets worse but nothing serious.

So after a qucik oil and filter change, I orderd an ORA 2.5" lift kit. With help from a mate we installed it on Sunday morning including longer brake hoses, steering dampner, transmission skid plate. I still have the castor correction to do. Really pleased with how it all went and looks, considering I have never done this much work on a car before.

I have added some pics of before and after the lift.

Now time to go and play and see how I get on, any suggestions on what is a good idea to do next, I fancy fitting a snorkle at some point, and some more aggressive mud tyres. Not sure how big tyres I can go on 16" wheels anyone else have them?
