Hi everyone purchased my first jimny on Monday, and thought I would join to find out advise and tips on these great 4x4. It is currently standard but I am looking at getting a 2.5" lift for it and some 215's fitted in the near future also a winch bumper.i need to save some more pennies before I get to carried away. But look forward to getting tips from you guys along the way.

Hi and welcome along.
Have you looked at Offroad Armoury's suspension kits as they are the most economic way of lifting a Jimny I think but not always the most affordable as you have to get it all at once. Then that's where the Bigjimny shop comes in making it more affordable to do it in stages.
Why only 2.5" can I ask? Are you trying to keep costs down by negating the need for castor correction?
Let's see the beast in a photo then, even if standard. It's nice to see your starting point and we all love pictures!

yes the off road armoury 2.5 kit was the one i was looking at. I would only be using the jimny for logging and also shooting so will not need too much of a lift on it.
This is her now have put a new radio in her other than that she's standard

My dad has an old school sj410 in good condition but you can see the drastic difference between the two and the ride of them both.
