Richards Jimny was created by Red One
Just thought i would introduce myself as i have booked in to go to Tong on 5th Dec with Big Jimny. Here is a picture of my Suzuki. It is standard except for 195/80/15 insa turbo special tracks. It has covered only 35000 miles from new and is in great condition. Picture was taken at Stainsby Quarry last sunday at East Midlands off road club trial.Look at emorc4x4.net. I look after memberships and we have some modified suzukis in the club, although all types of 4x4 are welcome.
Thanks for looking,
Richard.

Where abouts are you from if you were at Stainby?
Thats about 30-45mins from me, been there a couple of times including once with EMORC in my old SJ.
I think its a cracking site when its all accessible, shame its not used by more clubs. I've only seen about 5-6 dates a year there advertised.
All being well i'm at Yarwell this Sunday, its about 15/20mins down the road from Stainby.
Tidy truck too!

Thanks for the comments guys, I live at Selston near M1 J27. The Special Tracks are ace offroad, with excellent bite from narrow profile and they do not foul the arches on full travel or lock. Was not expecting them to measure 28inchs but this does give a useful lift under the diffs of over an inch. Still got stuck on radius mounts on Sunday so looks like B4V spring spacers next.

I'll have to look out for dates near me in the future. Do they still have drive days that allow non members?
Be nice to get to some events where i'm not the only non landy driver!
Unfortunately we've not got any clubs in the area and our attempts to get a group together fell on its face. I've been out with Lincs off road but they cover a massive area and i'm the most southerly person, Stainby is the closest they use (only for tyro) but the next nearest event is Manby which is over 1.5hours away and makes for a really long day and pricey too when you factor in nearly a full tank for travelling and driving all day. They charge more for non members and its not great value for me to join when most events are too far away.
